INDIA OF MY DREAMS-By Krishna Prabha (5020)

I am an Indian. I love my motherland. I wish to make it an ideal country in the world. I dream of making india a richer, happier and healthier place to live in. I want to see my country progress in all fields of life. Today people have grown selfish. Instead of thinking of our own interest, we will think for the overall betterment of our society. In the India  of my dream, every man will have a high moral sense and a deep love for the nation.
The india of my dreams is a corruption free nation. Beggary should be abolished, govt should be people friendly and citizens should consider it to be their duty to do something constructive for the nation.
Teachers and doctors should be respected. Educational institutions should not be treated as playground for dirty politics and corruption. National income should be equally distributed among the people. Our motherland should be a country where every common man gets to fulfill his basic need. They should be given jobs based on their aptitude and knowledge and not on recommendation.
I want india to be at the apex in terms of science and technological progress. I would like to build an india where blind should not rule over. Every Indian should participate for a pollution free india by planting trees. Women and elders should be respected, environment and surroundings should be clean and hygienic. It should be free from terrorism and should have love and respect for every religion and caste. We should mobilise our Indian youth to participate in development of our idol india and carry out activities for betterment. To make Indian a peaceful place, we should following the commands made by A. P. J ABDUL KALAM. The india of my dream will strengthen and empower  women. There will be more women pilots, doctors, officers and teachers. The birth of a girl child will be celebrated. My dream india will be free from gender bias and inequality.

INDIA OF MY DREAMS
                                                               -Anju Shibi
                                                          5034
It’s been some 70 years since the eve of Indian independence. And its high-time to think whether our India is actually free, not from the British Raj but from the threads of poverty and injustice. It’s time to think whether we live in a country of our dreams. I frankly feel that this is not the India that we all have dreamt about.

The India of my dream should be free from corruption. Our nation should not become a playground for the unjust and disloyal. It should be free from the dirty tricks of the world leaders. People should be well aware of their rights and duties so that corruption can be avoided to a certain limit. Government should be people-friendly and people should consider it their duty to do something constructive for the nation.

It should be a nation where the women folks are able to roam around without worries during any hour of the day. The recent events have once again proved that India is not a women friendly nation to live on. This is an area which should get the immediate attention of the authorities.

Tough it is said that India is a developing nation I doubt that the development is just only for a few strata of the society. Because even now, many areas of our nation lack the basic amenities. Food, clothing, housing, education and health are the basic rights of every human-being. It should not be denied. My next dream is that of a poor free India where all men are able to achieve atleast their basic rights.

Then I dream about the industrial and technological growth of our country. India should be scientifically and technologically advanced. We should always stand on top in every field. Along with science and development we should protect the beauty and purity of our motherland. Its great heritage and culture should not be hindered.

But I think all these are just secondary. Because once the nation is safe and secure to live in, all those will follow. Hope all these won’t take much time to be reality. Let’s pray for the same.

                          INDIA OF MY DREAM

                                              ALEENA KJ 5059

I  dream of India as being a nation where every citizen is educated. I want the people of my country to understand the importance of education and ensure that their children seek education rather than indulging in menial jobs at a tender age. Adults who have missed a chance to study during their childhood must also join adult education classes to seek education in order to find a better job for themselves.
I want the government to provide equal employment opportunities for all so that the youth get deserving jobs and contribute towards the growth of the nation. I want the country to become technologically advanced and see growth in all the sectors. Lastly, I want India to be a country where women are treated with respect and are given equal opportunities as men, where freedom of equality is enjoyed in its true sense. It would be a place where no discrimination is done on the basis of a person’s caste, creed, religion or social/economic status.

Though more and more women are stepping out of their homes and making a mark in different fields there is still a lot of discrimination against women in our country. From female foeticide to restricting women to household tasks, there are a lot of areas that need to be worked upon. Many non-profit organizations have come forward to promote women empowerment. However, we still have to work a lot on changing the mindset of the society. I dream of India that sees women as an asset not a liability. I want it to be a place where men and women are treated as equals.
EDUCATION
India of my dreams would be a place where education is made mandatory for all. The government must go a step further to ensure that no child in the country is devoid of education.

Employment Opportunities
Many qualified youths in the country fail to get good employment opportunities. The opportunities are either limited or do not pay enough to the deserving candidates. . Many of the youths who fail to get good employment opportunities in India fly abroad and put their minds to work for the economic growth of other countries while others roam around unemployed.
Caste Discrimination
The country is still not completely free of discrimination on the basis of caste, creed and religion. It is sad to see how people belonging to the lower and weaker sections are even denied their basic rights in certain parts of the country.  This often leads to unrest in the country. I dream of India where people are not discriminated based on their caste and religion.
Corruption
Corruption is one of the main reasons why India is unable to grow at the speed at which it should. Instead of making an effort to serve the country, the political leaders here are busy filling their own pockets. I dream of India where the ministers are dedicated wholly and solely towards the development of the country and its citizens.
Conclusion
India of my dreams would be a country that sees all its citizens as equal and does not discriminate them based on any criteria. I dream of a place where women are respected and are seen equal to men. I also want India to see advancements in the field of science, technology, agriculture and education in the times to come.

India of my dream

India-my motherland, with its mighty Himalayas looks like a golden bird flying high all above the sky with its cultures, traditions and with many advanced developments in science and technology. I am very proud to be an Indian. I love my country and I want it to be the best in the world. I wish that my country should become a great nation with its talent and capability.

↠I have a sweet little dream for my motherland. People in India should be self-sufficient in food for which we have to make the barren lands productive. New varieties of seeds and modern tools should be used for agriculture which is the backbone of Indian economy.

↠The India of my dreams is a corruption-free nation. Beggary should be abolished; government should be people-friendly and citizens should consider it to be their duty to do something constructive for the nation.

↠Teachers and doctors should be respected, educational institutions should not be treated as playground for dirty politics and corruption. National income should be equally distributed among the people.

↠ Our motherland should be a country where every common man gets to fulfill his basic needs. They should be given jobs based on their aptitude and knowledge and not on recommendations.

↠ I want India to be at the apex in terms of science and technological progress. It should be scientifically and technologically advanced. I would like to build an India where blind faith should not rule over.

↠India should always stand on top in every field. Every Indian should participate for a pollution free India by planting trees.

↠Women and elders should be respected, environment and surroundings should be clean and hygienic, it should be free from terrorism and should have love and respect for every religion, cast and creed, should have good transport system and roads, defence and security of the country would be of paramount importance, people should have freedom of expression, farmers should be respected as professionals.

↠India of my dreams should be rich with heritage and culture, should excel in fine arts, handicrafts, sculpture, architecture, dance, drama, literature, poetry, music, and her vast knowledge in vedas, puranas, etc and satisfy the human quest for further knowledge and for the betterment, welfare and service of mankind.

↠ We should mobilise our Indian youth to participate in development of our idol India and carry out activists for the betterment. To make Indian a peaceful place we should following the 10 commands made by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam.

↠India should unite by the Shabad Kirtan from Gurudwaras, Azan from Mosques, Bhajans from Temples and chiming of the bells from churches merge and mingle and produce a harmonious, melodious, spiritual tune…loved by all.

Dream, dream, dream. Dream transforms into thoughts. Thoughts result into action. - Jai Hind.

INDIA OF MY DREAMS- By Athira prasad (5021)

INDIA is a country where people of different cultures and religions live in harmony with one another. Although still in many parts of the country, discrimination is done on the basis of gender, caste, creed, religion and economic status.INDIA IN MY DREAMS will be such an India where there is no such discrimination. Casteism is another major issue that need to be worked upon. I DREAM OF INDIA as a fully developed country, by retaining its cultural heritage. I DREAM INDIA to be a country where every citizen will be educated.I want people in my country to understand the importance of education and ensure that their children get the right to get education instead of getting jobs at a young age. I want the government to provide equal employment opportunities for all so that youth can get qualified employment and youth can contribute to the development of the nation. I want India to be a country where women are respected, they are treated fairly and given equal opportunities in all areas.I DREAM OF INDIA that seems women as an asset not a liability. There is a lot of corruption in the country and its rate is only growing by the day. The common man is suffering at the hands of corrupt politicians who are only interested in fulfilling their own selfish motives. I DREAM OF INDIA that is free from corruption at all levels.

MY DREAM ABOUT INDIA By Salie.s.p -5058

I also have a dream  about my INDIA. Even though we are celebrating the 70th independence day , we are still surrounded by darkness. Corruption , crime ,rape attempts towards women ,money madness, inequality, injustice are increasing day by day in our society. But its time for an explosion of this darkness and bring a spark of light in the hearts of the Indians.

I have a dream where a day would come when a woman can stand in her own legs without depending on anyone and walk with confidence without fearing about the society.
The India of my dreams is a corruption-free nation. Beggary should be abolished; government should be people-friendly and citizens should consider it to be their duty to do something constructive for the nation.

Teachers and doctors should be respected, educational institutions should not be treated as playground for dirty politics and corruption. National income should be equally distributed among the people.

I HAVE A DREAM FOR INDIA by Betsy George Chencheril, 5004

On this occasion when we Indians are celebrating our 69th Republic Day, I feel much honored to address each citizen gathered over here. Years back this day our constitution, which is praised as one of the best constitutions of the world, came into effect, which gave us sparks of hope about betterment and development of our nation.
But sixty nine years later, India is still in darkness. Sixty nine years later the promises made by our constitution is still in question. Increasing rate of poverty, rape, child labour, water scarcity, border battles, religious struggles etc shows the pathetic situation of our nation. If this situation goes on our constitution will soon turn into a book full of fake promises.
So my dear friends, I have a dream for India today. A dream which is deep rooted in the minds of each citizen of India.
I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up from the ashes of religious disparities and live harmoniously in peace.
I have a dream that one day every single person in this nation will come out of poverty and live a healthy life.
I have a dream that one day every single girl shall walk through the streets without any fear.
I have a dream that small children will one day live in a nation, where they will not be forced to do labour but will be sent to schools.
I have a dream that one day, the political system of this nation will be refined and educated and eligible leaders will lead us.
I have a dream that one day this nation will live in harmony with neighboring countries.
I have a dream that one day wealth accumulated in few hands will flow down to the poor and needy people.
I have a dream that one day every individual in this nation will have sufficient food to eat and sufficient water to drink.
I have a dream that even in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, a state filled with thundering noise of rifles, a state filled with rivalry, will one day turn into a land of peace and brotherhood.
I have a dream that one day each citizen will be entitled to enjoy the promises made in the constitution. I have a dream today.
This is my hope. This is our hope. This is India's hope.
I really look forward for a day when all of our dreams come true.

Thank You.
